The 2019 Asia Pacific Global Health and Travel awards was held at JW Marriot, Kuala Lumpur Malaysia on 25 – 26 April 2019.

MWH Medical Pte Ltd was awarded the following honours at the Global Health and Travel 2019 APAC Healthcare and Medical Tourism Awards:

Mr Choo Kin Poo, Group CEO of MWH Medical Pte Ltd was invited to be the guest speaker to share his insights on MWH Medical Way: Proactive Healthcare.

FOK YING-TUNG PRIZE THE WORLD OUTSTANDING CHINESE DOCTOR AWARD (2018)

This award was initiated by the World Chinese Doctors Association and is the highest accolade given to a medical doctor of Chinese ethnicity and aims to encourage more doctors of Chinese ethnicity to contribute to the health of the people of the world and further enhance the recognition and support of Chinese doctors in their countries and regions.

Dr Michael Lim was among 10 Chinese Physicians and the only Singaporean who was bestowed this accolade.

JCI OUTSTANDING YOUNG PERSON OF SINGAPORE AWARD (2018)

The Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Singapore (TOYP) Awards was organised by the Junior Chamber International that aims to provide development opportunities empowering young people – the awards seek to recognise individuals between the ages of 18 and 40 who exemplify the best attributes of young people. Candidates are nominated from not-for-profit organisations, professional organisations, individuals, businesses, and government agencies. The awards have been given out worldwide since 1983.

SINGAPORE PRESTIGE BRAND AWARD (2017)

Singapore Medical Specialists Centre has been awarded the Singapore Prestige Brand Award in the category of Established Brands. The Singapore Prestige Brand Award (SPBA) was inaugurated in 2002 by the Association of Small & Medium Enterprises (ASME) and Lianhe Zaobao. The Award also serves as a yardstick for SMEs to benchmark their brand equity against their competitors.

THE ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR AWARD (2017)

Inaugurated in 1989 by the Rotary Club of Singapore, The Entrepreneur of the Year Award (EYA) is the oldest Award in Singapore that honours local Entrepreneurs who have shown outstanding performance as business owners, be they emerging or established enterprises, in their respective industry fields. Upholding the prestige of the Award, EYA prides itself for the high qualifying criteria, rigorous rounds of site visits and stringent judging processes.
