Dr Chong Yeh Woei is a physician in Singapore Medical Specialist centre. Having more than 20years experience in private practise of internal medicine and manages a wide spectrum of medical diseases. Dr Vyas Prasad is an ENT Consultant in MWH Medical Specialists Centre, where he specialises in voice and swallowing disorders as well as head and neck surgery – having gained invaluable experience at The Royal Marsden, Royal Free, Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospitals as well as having completed a further year and a half of head and neck training post-FRCS at Barts and the London. He has also spent a year at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire (Universite Catholique Louvain, Mont-Godinne, Belgium) with Professors Marc Remacle and Georges Lawson where he underwent training in head and neck surgery and laryngology with a focus on robotics (flexible and da Vinci), lasers, phonosurgery, minimally invasive surgery and oncology in both children and adults.
Besides his adult practice, he has spent considerable time in specialist units focusing on paediatric ENT including head and neck and airway surgery i.e. Great Ormond Street Hospital London, the Nuffield Centre for Hearing at Gray’s Inn Road and Barts and The London NHS Trust. He is a member of the European Laryngology Society, reviewer for the European Archives of Otolaryngology, Affiliate of the National Cancer Institute of Singapore and fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology.

Dr Sam Peh Oon Hui is a urologist who specialises in treating disorders of the male and female urinary tract (kidney, ureter, bladder and urethra) and the male reproductive system. His services include the diagnosis as well as the medical and surgical management of a full range of urological problems, including andrology, erectile dysfunction and work-up of male infertility. He further specialises in providing laparoscopic surgery, especially in managing problems and cancers of the kidney and prostate. He currently practises out of his clinics at Mount Elizabeth Novena, Mount Elizabeth and Parkway East Hospitals.

Dr. Edwin Tan is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and adult reconstruction surgery, with particular expertise in upper limb conditions. Dr Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore with an MBBS and subsequently an M.Med (Orthopaedic Surgery) degree, before going on to attain Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh). Dr Tan is committed to excellence in orthopaedic care and employs the most current arthroscopic and open surgical techniques to manage a wide spectrum of sports-related injuries and other orthopaedic conditions. Dr Verena Tan is an experienced dietitian with more than 14 years of diverse and well rounded experience in medical nutrition therapy, clinical research, product formulation and development, writing and education.
She has extensive experience in providing expert clinical nutrition advice to manage the diets of health conditions in areas such as cardiology, diabetes, gastroenterology, geriatrics, intensive care medicine, weight management, renal nutrition and many more. In particular, she has special interests in infant and maternal nutrition and cardiovascular health. She is also passionate about the emerging and exciting role of nutrigenomics in preventative health.

Dr Quan graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore in 1992. He received his Membership from the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP UK) in 1998 and joined a private medical group for 5 years as a primary care physician. He then furthered his advanced specialty training in Gastroenterology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital before spending 1 year in Hong Kong at Prince of Wales Hospital as a visiting scholar where he received his sub-specialty training in Interventional Endoscopy, including luminal stent placement, ERCP and Cholangioscopy as well as Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS/FNA) and various Endoscopic Mucosal Resection technique (EMR/ESD). Dr Quan has also obtained his Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP Edin) and is currently a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) in Gastroenterology. To continue his affiliation with the public sector, Dr Quan provides his service to Khoo Teck Puat and Tan Tock Seng Hospital as a visiting consultant in advanced therapeutic endoscopy including ERCP, Spyglass cholangioscopy and EUS.

Dr Denis Cheong Mun Onn is a general surgeon with more than 20 years experience in the field. At his Mount Elizabeth Novena and Mount Elizabeth clinics, he provides specialised care in the treatment of anal conditions like haemorrhoids, fistula and fissure, laparoscopic treatment of colon and rectal cancers, diverticular disease and gall bladder disorders, hernia repair and thyroid surgery.
Upon his graduation from the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Singapore (MBBS, 1983), Dr Cheong underwent basic training and then completed specialty training in General Surgery (FRCS Glasgow, 1989). Then, through the Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) Award, he trained in Colorectal Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Florida under Dr Steven Wexner in 1992. A second HMDP scholarship in 2003 brought him to St Mark’s Hospital in London, the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm and the University of Upsalla in Sweden. In 2008, he was awarded the HMDP fellowship for the third time to further his skills in Laparoscopic and Colorectal Surgery at the Australasian Endosurgery Centre in Brisbane and the Royal Northshore Hospital in Sydney.

Dr Melvin Look is a Consultant General Surgeon and Medical Director of the PanAsia Surgical Group in Mount Elizabeth Orchard Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital and Parkway East Hospital. He graduated with MBBS from the National University of Singapore and completed his Fellowship in Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and the Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow.
Dr Look is a general surgeon with a subspecialty expertise in gastrointestinal surgery, therapeutic endoscopy (including ERCP) and advanced laparoscopic surgery. He has a strong interest in Radical Resection, including Peritonectomy Procedures, for the surgical treatment of esophageal, gastric, pancreatic and abdominal cancers. He also performs a wide repertoire of minimally invasive surgery and was the first surgeon in the South East Asia to perform a number of advanced laparoscopic operations; including Hand-assisted Laparoscopic Surgery, Endoscopic Thyroid Surgery, and Laparoscopic Swedish Adjustable Gastric Banding for morbid obesity.

Dr Tan Heng Hao has been involved in the field of reproductive medicine since the start of his career as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (O&G).
In addition to being a Ministry Of Health (MOH) accredited IVF specialist in Singapore, he is trained in advanced endoscopy and reproductive surgery for fertility enhancement. He received part of his surgical training in Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (Taipei) under the Ministry’s Health Manpower Development Plan (HMDP) award in 2009, and is one of the few who still performs laparoscopic tubal reversals locally.
He also holds special interest in other aspects of clinical care. They include:
- Advanced minimally invasive surgery for endometriotic and other benign gynaecological conditions;
- Managing the care in both IVF and non-IVF pregnancies;
- And performing surgical sperm retrieval for patients with male infertility.

Dr Timothy Lim Yong Kuei is a Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a special interest in the management of gynaecological cancers. Though his key interests are in laparoscopic surgery, complex pelvic surgery and the prevention and treatment of gynaecological cancers, he also provides antenatal care to expectant mothers and manages a wide range of gynaecological conditions including endometriosis, fibroids and ovarian cysts.
He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1998 and obtained his post-graduate qualifications in O&G from the Royal College of O&G, London in 2003. He started his gynaecological oncology fellowship training in the Department of Gynaecological Oncology, KKH in 2006 and was awarded the Health Manpower Development Programme of MOH(HMDP) award to train in minimally invasive gynaecological cancer surgery in France under the tutelage of the renowned Prof Denis Querleu in 2008. He has also obtained the Masters in Law (LLM) in Medical Law and Ethics at the University of Edinburgh in 2016.
Vascular Surgeon

Dr John Wang is a vascular and general surgeon at Mount Elizabeth Hospitals, Singapore. His areas of interests are in vascular surgery and endovascular surgery. He graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland with honours and pursued a master’s degree in clinical anatomy and anthropology at the National University of Ireland, Dublin. He is double-boarded in general and vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
He completed his General Surgery Residency training and subsequently, a Vascular Surgery Fellowship, at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia. He was a former senior consultant vascular surgeon at Singapore General Hospital, where he practised the full spectrum of vascular and endovascular surgery for 5 years. He was also an attending vascular surgeon at University Hospital Case Medical Center, Cleveland, for 5 years prior to moving to Singapore.
Radiation Oncologist

Dr Johann Tang is an oncologist practising at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore. He has more than a decade of clinical experience in radiation oncology, and has taken care of patients in Singapore and from countries including Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar, China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India and Russia.
Prior to entering private practice, Dr Tang was at the National University Hospital (NUH) for 18 years. There, his subspecialties and main research interests included breast, gynaecological, brain and paediatric tumours. He also headed the breast, gynae-oncology, paediatric and brachytherapy radiotherapy services. He is passionately involved in education and is currently the co-chair of the Euro-Asia Breast Brachytherapy School. He is part of the BrachyAcademy faculty, as well as the teaching faculty of the Australian Paediatric Radiation Oncology Special Interest Group. He is an external examiner in radiation oncology to the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr Fong Kah Leng has full registration with Singapore Medical Council and General Medical Council (UK). Dr Fong provides a full range of out-patient services and surgeries in obstetrics and gynaecology. Her area of work includes providing pregnancy care & delivery, management of common gynaecological conditions such as uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, menopause, family planning, endometriosis etc, hysteroscopy and laparoscopic surgery. She has a special interest in lower genital tract cancer prevention and screening; including colposcopy and vulval diseases and treatment of pre-invasive conditions.
She had several research projects and publications in that area. She was a principal investigator for the multi-center clinical trials of one of the HPV vaccines against cervical cancer. Her medical career is dedicated to direct contact with her patients.
Her dedication to patient care has led her to receive several awards such as the Excellence service award (EXSA) Gold and Singapore Health Quality Service Silver Award.
